The Committee Chairman informed the guest of law-making practice in the field of law enforcement. V.Shvets reported on working groups, created within the Committee, that are elaborating new versions of laws regarding prosecution, the police, bodies in charge of internal affairs. They are also working on versions of new codes, namely: Criminal Procedural and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.
The Parties also dwelled upon coordination of Ukrainian legislation with European standards.
The Parties expressed their interest in further cooperation.
